Brown closing in on new deal
Scott Brown has revealed he is "very close" to signing a new deal at Celtic.[LNB] The Hoops skipper has a year left on his current deal but expects to extend it after talks with the Glasgow club.[LNB]Ahead of Sunday's Scottish Premier League clash with St Johnstone at Parkhead, the Scotland midfielder said: "We are getting very close. Hopefully it's just a matter of time, maybe a couple of weeks or so.[LNB]"I hope to sign, yes.[LNB]"I want to stay at this club, I enjoy this club.[LNB]"The manager wants me to stay and I want to stay for the manager as well.[LNB]"Since he came in I have improved as a player and hopefully I can improve even more.[LNB]"I want to win the league and cups, that's why I came to this club.[LNB]"I have had a taste of it before and I want more."[LNB]
