Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc is expected to miss January's crucial Old Firm game if he is told he requires surgery on a knee injury.
However, the Polish shot-stopper will not have the operation until after this week's vital Champions League encounter against AC Milan.
Bhoys boss Gordon Strachan said: "We'll look at Artur straight after the game (at Milan).
"It might be he'll come through the test with flying colours.
"But if he hasn't got any better he'll go straight into hospital for corrective surgery."
