Boruc set for flag action

Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc will be reported to the SPL following a flag-waving incident at the end of Saturday's 2-0 derby defeat by Rangers.

The Poland goalkeeper ran across the Ibrox pitch waving a flag proclaiming Celtic as champions in an incident condemned by Strathclyde Police.

"We are aware of the Celtic goalkeeper's actions at the end of the game," confirmed a police statement.

"No criminal act has occurred, but we will be addressing the matter to Celtic and the Scottish Premier League."

Boruc has previously been in hot water after making gestures towards Rangers fans during another derby clash at Ibrox in August.
