Boruc Pole-axed after latest gaffe

Boruc has paid the price for a poor display in the 3-2 defeat by Northern Ireland at Windsor Park on Saturday. He was culpable for the first two goals and then let a back-pass go over his foot for the decider. Beenhakker said: "What happened affected the whole team but especially Artur Boruc. "We both decided that he should leave the camp and go back to Glasgow. I informed him, openly and honestly, that I will not use him for the match against San Marino." Beenhakker will now opt for either Arsenal's Lukasz Fabianski - who was ill at the weekend - or Dundee United's Lukasz Zaluska.
