Artur Boruc's colourful Celtic career will officially come to an end as long as the results of his medical at Fiorentina are positive. Celtic have accepted a reported £1.7million bid from the Serie A club for the goalkeeper, who had one year left on his Parkhead contract. The Italians announced on their official website on Monday night that the transfer would be completed after the medical results were confirmed. Boruc had set off with the rest of his team-mates as Celtic embarked on a pre-season tour of North America but the Pole was diverted at London as Fiorentina stepped up their interest. The controversial Boruc made more than 200 appearances for the club after arriving from Legia Warsaw in 2005.
