Bhoys to bag Hutchinson

Celtic have secured a pre-contract agreement with Middlesbrough's promising young striker Ben Hutchinson.

The 20-year-old has scored once in nine games to date for Boro, but has opted to pen a three-year deal with the Bhoys rather than remain at the Riverside.

Celtic boss Gordon Strachan told the club's official website: "We're very pleased to have signed Ben and will welcome him to the club in the summer.

"We hope he enjoys his time here and proves to be a great success.

"He is something different from what we have got coming through from the younger lads and we could speak to him because his contract is up."
