Bhoys keen on keeper Cervi

Celtic are interested in signing American goalkeeper Dominic Cervi following a successful trial.

The 22-year-old opted to head to the UK after turning down a contract with American Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire at the beginning of the summer and spent time with both the Bhoys and Portsmouth.

The under-23 international impressed manager Gordon Strachan during Celtic's pre-season tour to the USA.

The University of Tulsa graduate would compete with Mark Brown as back-up to regular number one Artur Boruc at Parkhead.

Meanwhile, the Bhoys also reportedly remain interested in signing Aarau's Switzerland midfielder Sandro Burki.
