Bhoys boss vows to keep Boruc

Reports have suggested Tottenham could be in the market for Polish shot-stopper Boruc as part of a deal involving Robbie Keane going in the opposite direction.[LNB]However, Mowbray has moved to reject the speculation and has no plans to sell the 29-year-old, who he regards as the best keeper he has ever worked with.[LNB]"First of all I think I'd have had a phone call from Harry Redknapp if Spurs were interested in Artur," said Mowbray.[LNB]"That's the way he does business and he certainly hasn't asked me about Boruc. [LNB]"Artur's undoubtedly the most asset-rich keeper I have ever worked with. He's spectacularly good. [LNB]"I judge my keepers on their ability to keep the ball out of the net and I know how hard Boruc works to maintain his standards in that direction. [LNB]"He works exceptionally hard in training because he knows what he needs to do."[LNB]Meanwhile, Bhoys striker Scott McDonald has played down talk linking him with a move away from the Glasgow giants.[LNB]Former Celtic boss Gordon Strachan is thought to be keen on luring the Australian to Middlesbrough and although McDonald is flattered by the interest he wants to stay at Celtic.[LNB]"It's always nice when people want you," McDonald told the Scottish Sun. "But I've said all along I want to be here and that has not changed. [LNB]"Ultimately, it's up to other people to decide. But I've always said if I get to spend the rest of my career at Celtic then I must have done something right. [LNB]"If that happens I'll have had a great career. That's all I'm looking at."[LNB][LNB] Celtic v Rangers. Click here to bet.
