Barca ace turned down Celtic move

Jefrren was very much in-demand prior to the window closing and the 22-year-old was tempted to link up with his former Barca team-mate Marc Crosas at Parkhead.[LNB]However Jeffren, who recently extended his Barca stay until 2012, was given a chance by Pep Guardiola in the World Club Championship and now believes he can make the grade at the Nou Camp.[LNB]"I rejected a lot of interesting offers and a lot of money to extend my stay at Barca," Jeffren told the Daily Record.[LNB]"In January I had the chance to go to Scotland on loan at Celtic but at the last minute I decided against it.[LNB]"My role at Abu Dhabi was decisive for my future.
