Celtic manager Gordon Strachan was impressed by Falkirk's display against his side on Sunday as the Bhoys escaped from the clash with three points thanks to a late Aiden McGeady goal.
The win leaves Strachan's side three points clear at the top of the SPL table but the Celtic boss knew his team had been fortunate to win the game.
"What a performance by Falkirk, especially in the first 45 minutes," he said.
"That was the best performance against us for a long, long time. We were not great and it was our individuals who got us there in the end.
"Falkirk take all the credit though. They were fantastic and put us under pressure from the start.
"I always felt that a goal was coming for us though and when I made the double substitution it was to get the side better balanced and I think it worked.
"Falkirk beat Hibs last week, so we are just grateful to have taken the points."
