Celtic will play AZ Alkmaar seven days after original date. Celtic have confirmed they had rearranged their postponed friendly against AZ Alkmaar for next Wednesday. The clubs were due to meet at Parkhead tonight (Wednesday) but the Hoops announced on Tuesday the fixture was off amid the grounding of many flights across western Europe due to an ash cloud emanating from an Icelandic volcano. All British airports were reopened on Tuesday night and the game has therefore been given the go-ahead for next Wednesday (kick-off 7.45pm). Entry is free for season book holders, while non-season book holders can purchase tickets priced at £10 for adult and £3 for children.
