Ahead of Saturday's meeting between the two sides, Celtic striker Georgios Samaras says the memory of Aberdeen ending the champions' unbeaten league run still hurts.
The 2-1 loss at Pittodrie was Celtic's first in 27 league games, ending their chances of finishing the season undefeated, and came just two weeks after the Dons had knocked Neil Lennon's side out of the Scottish Cup following a 2-1 win at Celtic Park.
The Hoops welcome second-place Aberdeen back to Parkhead this Saturday and Greek striker Samaras, who is set to leave the Scottish champions at the end of the season, admits his frustration at the league defeat has yet to subside.
"The loss we had there at Aberdeen ended the unbeaten run and I don't feel they deserved to win that game," Samaras said of the March defeat to Derek McInnes's side.
"Even when we were down to 10 men, we had a couple of chances to draw the game after James Forrest scored.
"When you are so close to go through the whole championship unbeaten, something no club has done, means it's a game I will never forget.
"It's really sore. Last season we dropped a lot of points after the Champions League games, so this time, even with hard games in the Champions League, we were very focused not to lose.
"When you are playing at such a high level for a number of months, combining Champions League and domestic football, it really hurt when we lost that game. But it's not about revenge so we just need to go out and win."
Elsewhere on Saturday, Hibernian will attempt to bring a nine match winless run to an end when they take on fellow strugglers Partick Thistle at Easter Road.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle must bury the memory of last weekend's 6-0 thrashing by Celtic when they take on Dundee United in the race for fourth spot.
Third-placed Motherwell host Scottish Cup finalists St Johnstone at Fir Park and in-form St Mirren, who are undefeated in their previous four matches, take on Ross County.
On Sunday, relegated Hearts take on second bottom Kilmarnock at Tynecastle with the Rugby Park side looking for a win to move away from the relegation play-off position.
