Winger to join Cumbrians

Carlisle United have agreed a deal with Preston North End to sign winger Joe Anyinsah on a month's loan.

The 22-year-old former Bristol City trainee will join the Cumbrians for an initial four-week spell subject to the necessary paperwork being approved by the Football League.

Anyinsah has spent previous loan spells with Hereford United and Bury and will go straight into the squad for Saturday's home clash with Bristol Rovers.

"He has yet to sign the deal, but we expect that to be done this afternoon," caretaker-manager Greg Abbott told the club's official website.

"He's an exciting winger and we're looking forward to working with him over the course of the next month."
