Ward prepared for Gall exit

Carlisle United boss John Ward has revealed that transfer-listed striker Kevin Gall could be on his way out of Brunton Park.

"We've made teams know he is available," Ward told BBC Cumbria this week, as Carlisle look to prepare their squad for an assault on League One this season.

Gall, 26, has not been the subject of any offers despite his availability and he is in no obvious rush to move away from the Cumbrians.

"I don't want to leave Carlisle and I have never asked to leave," he said.

"The gaffer has told me I can go on a free and I have to look at my options.

"But he also said that if I go and talk to other people and it doesn't work out, I'm entitled to come back and fight for my place in the team."
