Carlisle United manager John Ward is content that it will be business as usual at Brunton Park following a change in ownership at the League One club.
Directors David Allen, Andrew Jenkins, John Nixon and Steve Pattison have bought out previous owner Fred Story, a move which has Ward's full backing.
He told the News & Star: "We all know each other well enough to be able to say we can work together.
"In terms of the progression of Carlisle United, these four men know what is required and feel they can work with the current staff and players and that is key."
Story is also content with the situation, adding: "The board have my full backing.
"People have got to realise that running a football club is a tough job. I know that better than anybody.
"If people care about Carlisle United they should back the four people who are there and who without doubt have the best interests of Carlisle United at heart."
