Relegation-threatened Southend overcame a two-goal deficit and having skipper Adam Barrett sent off to earn a point.Scott Dobie's low header from an Evan Horwood cross put Carlisle ahead after only six minutes, then team-mate Ben Marshall headed home from close range. Southend reduced the deficit in the 25th minute with a low Franck Moussa shot into the corner from 18 yards.
