Published: 30 Nov 2009 - 15:26:23
Defender David Raven remains absent with a hip injury and is expected to be out for at least another three weeks. Captain Paul Thirlwell is another long-term casualty and is also set for another three weeks on the sidelines with his Achilles injury. The duo are joined in the treatment room by Marc Bridge-Wilkinson, Simon Lakeland and striker Richard Offiong, who are all struggling with knee problems. Andy Cook will miss the rest of the season with a broken foot, while midfielder Gavin Rothery has joined Barrow on loan until January after failing to establish himself at Brunton Park. On-loan midfielder Adam Clayton has resumed training after a knee injury and may play some part after missing the impressive FA Cup victory over Norwich.
