Raven agrees Carlisle stay

Defender David Raven has agreed a new one-year deal to stay at Carlisle United.

Raven, 24, made 46 appearances for the Cumbrians last season and will put pen to paper on his return to the club next week.

"It's good for us that we have it all signed up and agreed because it is another piece of the planning for next season that is now in place and finalised," manager Greg Abbott told the club's official website.

"We have all seen the positive influence that David can have and he is determined to push on with us again next season.

"I'm delighted that he will be signing and I am really looking forward to working with him again when we get back together in July."
