McDonald keen to land Krause

Carlisle United manager Neil McDonald is close to agreeing a deal to bring Ipswich Town teenager James Krause to Brunton Park on a two-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old has failed to make a first-team appearance for the Championship side but, if he impresses during his loan spell with United, the move could be made permanent.
McDonald, who is also hoping to tie up a permanent deal for Derby County midfielder Paul Thirlwell, told the News and Star: "James is coming in on loan with a view to possibly signing permanently.
"He had a couple of days training with us last week and I was impressed so we're now going to take him for two months and see what happens.
"He's very quick and strong and decent on the ball. We're short of left-sided players and we're going to have to be careful because Ziggy (Zigor Aranalde) and Peter (Murphy) are both on four bookings. He will also put pressure on Ziggy and Peter.
"Ziggy has played every single game and he's a model professional but there will be a stage when he will miss games."
