Madine confident on return

Carlisle's leading goalscorer Gary Madine expects to return to full training in time for next Saturday's home clash with Rochdale.The 20-year-old, who has hit 11 goals this season, limped out of Saturday's 3-2 win over Southampton due to a foot injury sustained midway through the second half.Madine said: "It was sore after the game, but it had settled a lot by Sunday morning."I let Dolly (club physio Neil Dalton) know that it was fine and I'll be in for training as normal on Tuesday."Meanwhile, midfielder Marc Bridge-Wilkinson, 31, has extended his loan spell at Darlington until January 8 after making six appearances for the Quakers in the last month. Carlisle have insisted on a 24-hour recall.
