Hawley blow for Cumbrians

Carlisle United's leading scorer Karl Hawley is facing at least a month on the sidelines after breaking a rib in last weekend's 5-1 defeat at Crewe Alexandra.
The six-goal striker will miss a minimum of four League One games, giving United manager Neil McDonald's plans to strengthen his squad with loan signings new impetus.
"Karl was in fine form. He was putting the ball in the back of the net, which as a team we're not doing enough with the amount of chances we're creating," McDonald told The News & Star.
"So when we got the X-ray results back it was very disappointing - to lose him for four or five weeks is a killer blow.
"We've got other players, so I wouldn't say it was urgent, but it's very important we try to bring somebody in."
