Carlisle United winger Simon Hackney has penned a one-year extension to his contract that will keep him at Brunton Park until the end of the 2007-08 season.
The 22-year-old has scored seven goals in 54 appearances for the club since his move from Woodley Sports in February 2005.
"It's fantastic to have this all sorted out," Hackney told the club's official website.
"It's what I've been working really hard for. It's been a great two-year experience, but this year has been really fantastic for me.
"I've got the extension to the contract and hopefully I'll be here for many, many years to come."
