Graham told to keep going

Carlisle United striker Danny Graham has been urged to battle to regain his starting spot by Cumbrians boss John Ward.

Graham has netted nine goals this season, but was dropped to the bench against Brighton last weekend after going eight games without finding the net.

Ward told the News & Star: "I told him to have a breather, take stock and get going again.

"He was disappointed, which I expected, and I expect a glum face and disappointment when someone is left out of the team, but Danny has responded very positively.

"Danny has had a super season and he will bounce back from this. His work-rate, energy and attitude are spot on and it's having the belief to keep going, which he certainly has.

"All players should be proving a point because I want competition for places."
