Graham talks won't be rushed

Carlisle United manager Greg Abbott is in no rush to open new contract talks with top-scorer Danny Graham.

Abbott is prepared to wait until the end of the campaign before discussing new terms with the 23-year-old former Middlesbrough forward.

He told the News & Star: "I'm not going to tell Danny, 'Come in and sign by Monday afternoon, or you're on your way'.

"We've got to give him and myself every chance to come to that balance of what we're offering him and what he's asking for.

"We'll try and find a balance that's a good deal for both parties. If we can't do that, we've got problems."
