Gills sign Gowling on loan deal

Carlisle United defender Josh Gowling has joined Gillingham on a five-week loan deal. The 25-year-old signed for the Cumbrians last summer after three years with Bournemouth. Carlisle manager Greg Abbott told the club website: "An opportunity has come up for him to get some regular football and put himself in the shop window.
