Carlisle United striker Kevin Gall is set to fly out to Canada for a trial with MLS side Toronto FC.

The 26-year-old former Yeovil Town and Bristol Rovers frontman recently spent a loan spell with Darlington, having fallen down the pecking order with the Cumbrians.

Boss John Ward told the club's official website: "He'll fly out there and take a look at the place and they'll take a look at him. Then a decision will be made as to whether they will want to sign him.

"Obviously he is still under contract with us until the end of next season, but we're happy for him to go out there and to meet and train with them."

Gall moved to Brunton Park in the summer of 2006 and has scored 11 goals in 76 appearances in all competitions for the Cumbrians.
