Double delight for Graham

Carlisle United striker Danny Graham was pleased to open his goalscoring account for the season with a double in the 4-2 victory over Crewe Alexandra.

Graham had failed to impress during pre-season, but he hit top form against the Railwaymen to help Carlisle make it two wins out of two in the league this season.

He told BBC Radio Cumbria: "Obviously it's nice to finally get the goals.

"There's been a few doubters and hopefully I've proved a few wrong.

"It doesn't really bother me to be honest. I see pre-season as a time to get match-fit.

"It was a very open game and I think both teams wanted to attack. Like us, Crewe wanted to get the ball down and play and it was a very entertaining game."
