Carlisle United have landed Ipswich Town's teenage defender James Krause on a two-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old has been training with the Cumbrians and has agreed a temporary switch to Brunton Park, with a view to a permanent deal in the January transfer window.
United boss Neil McDonald told the News and Star: "James is coming in on loan with a view to possibly signing permanently.
"He had a couple of days training with us last week and I was impressed so we're now going to take him for two months and see what happens.
"He's very quick and strong and decent on the ball.
"We're short of left-sided players and we're going to have to be careful because Ziggy (Zigor Aranalde) and Peter (Murphy) are both on four bookings. He will also put pressure on Ziggy and Peter."
