Cumbrians seal Graham deal

Carlisle United have wrapped up the signing of former Middlesbrough striker Danny Graham on a two-year contract.

The 21-year-old scored seven times in 11 appearances for the Cumbrians while on loan at Brunton Park last season and Graham has now agreed a longer-term stay with the League One club.

Carlisle boss Neil McDonald told the club's official website: "We know what he's all about, he's shown us all that he's a goalscorer at this level.

"We need players who can score goals and Danny is one who can do that.

"He was very high up there on the list of players that we have been after and I'm delighted that we have got him.

"He's the first of our signings as we rebuild, although I won't be putting a number on how many we will be bringing in."
