Carlisle swoop for defender Simek

Carlisle United have signed United States international defender Frank Simek on a two-year contract following his release by Sheffield Wednesday.The 25-year-old came through the ranks at Arsenal before joining the Owls in July 2005, going on to make 130 first-team appearances.
