Allen fumes at Madine arrest

Carlisle United's teenage striker Gary Madine was arrested at the weekend and fined for being drunk and disorderly.

The 19-year-old now faces disciplinary action from the club, according to one of United's co-owners, David Allen.

"We're very disappointed and embarrassed about it," Allen told the News & Star. The club will be now going through its disciplinary procedures with Gary."

It is the latest embarrassing episode for the Cumbrians after Madine's team-mate Lenny Pidgeley was charged with drink-driving last week.
