Abbott delighted with point from Gills

The stalemate at Priestfield means that the Cumbrians have now extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to four games. "I am very satisfied with the point. Gillingham is a long way to come for us, a long journey, and we are now a point higher up than where we were," said Abbott. "It is a tough place to come and pick up points so I am definitely happy with the result. "We have a fair few injuries in our squad at the moment but everyone is resilient and a good bunch and working towards the same goal. "We have some injuries but we won't give up and will keep working hard to pick up points. We are on a bit of a run and we want it to continue."
