Abbott cool on Leeds clash

Carlisle United manager Greg Abbott insists he isn't feeling the pressure of being 90 minutes away from a Wembley pay-day.

The Cumbrians hold a 2-1 Johnstone's Paint Northern Area first-leg lead over Leeds United as they prepare to welcome the Yorkshire side to Brunton Park on Tuesday.

Whoever triumphs in the second-leg, they will face Southampton or MK Dons in what should a money spinner for the finalists in the capital.

But Abbott is more concerned about the team rather than the potential financial implications.

He said: "From my point of view, it is just about winning the game and getting the team to a cup final.

"For the directors and the owners, the financial side is important and if we get there then I will be able to ask them for a bit of that money to strengthen the squad.

"But my side is the football side. It is just about winning and the bonuses will then come with that."
