Zoko in line for Carlisle recall

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott could be tempted to rest several players for the midweek clash at Yeovil with Sunday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final in mind. The Cumbrians take on Brentford at Wembley next Sunday and lost 2-1 to the same side in a league clash on Friday when Abbott rested key striker Francois Zoko. Fellow forward Ben Marshall started on the right at Griffin Park with Craig Curran in a central position and they will be looking to cement their places. But Abbott could recall Zoko to boost his side as he has yet to give up on a late charge for the play-offs. Harry Arter, on loan from Bournemouth, is hoping to retain his place in the starting line-up. Striker Rory Loy, fit-again defender Danny Livesey (hamstring), Hull defender Liam Cooper and fellow loanee Liam Noble, from Sunderland, are all pressing their cases for recalls in time to impress ahead of the Cumbrians' date at Wembley.
