Carlisle have completed the signing of French striker Francoise Zoko who has signed an initial one-year deal. The former Ivory Coast Under-23 international, who is manager Greg Abbott's sixth summer signing, arrived at Brunton Park on trial in July. Abbott said: "Francoise has done really well and has shown us he can bring something a little bit different to what we already have here. "He's strong and causes problems for opposition defenders, and has fitted in well with the lads over the course of the last month. We're looking forward to working with him." Zoko, who spent three years with AS Nancy from 2001 and was recently released from KV Oostende, said: "Everyone has been fantastic with me since the moment I joined the club. "The manager and the owners have told me that they want to take the club to the next level and I want to come here and help them with that."
