Thirlwell: We`ll beat Bees

Carlisle captain Paul Thirlwell is targeting revenge against Brentford on the opening day of the npower League One season. The Cumbrians were subjected to a painful 3-1 home reverse at the hands of the Bees on the opening day of 2009/10. They now face each other again in their first fixture of the season and Thirlwell admits his side are keen to avenge last year's result. He told the club's official website: "I think that's a good one for us. "We had the same opening fixture last season and we don't want to feel the disappointment of the result that we had back then, so we'll be working towards getting a better result this time round. "We had a good season last year, and we want to progress and improve on that this time round, and that's where all of the focus is going at the moment."
