The Weston-super-Mare-born forward has also had loan spells at Port Vale, QPR, Burnley and Crewe. Taylor scored his only international goal for Wales in a 4-0 friendly victory over Scotland at the Millennium Stadium in 2004. "I see my future away from Doncaster, there's no doubt about that," said Taylor. "The club have been good to me there and allowed me to come away to Carlisle." "I'll just see how it goes really. I made it known that I wanted to go out on loan, so far it has gone alright," he added. And Taylor said he has seen enough from his new team to suggest that Carlisle will avoid dropping into League Two. "You saw what [Carlisle] did last season and for one reason or another it's not gone so well this year," said Taylor. "We've just got to make sure we see out this season as strongly as possible and hopefully we can achieve that."
