The 19-year-old is looking to kickstart his career in Cumbria after signing a six-month loan deal in an attempt to gain regular first-team experience. "It was amazing training with the Chelsea first team and I want to use that experience to help me further my career," he told the News & Star. "It is very difficult to break into the Chelsea team, but the way I look at it is that I have had the experience of learning from the best in the world like Frank Lampard and John Terry. "Guus Hiddink would invite youngsters to take part in 11-a-side games and I was up against Michael Essien, who is a complete powerhouse to play against. "I have a year left on my contract at Chelsea and I want to impress Carlisle, Chelsea and any other club that would be interested in me."
