Taiwo: Carlisle switch right for me

Taiwo, controversially "poached" from Leeds by Chelsea three years ago, has signed a two-and-a-half year contract at Brunton Park after initially arriving on loan from Stamford Bridge in July.[LNB]The Leeds-born 19-year-old said: "The (Carlisle) management staff have really helped to progress me along so far this season and that's a big reason why I wanted to stay here.[LNB]"We're playing some great football and that has also been important. I'm just looking forward to carrying that on now that we have got it all done. There was some interest from other clubs, but I've always been happy here and I know that I haven't shown my true potential yet.[LNB]"I want to learn more from the likes of Greg Abbott, Dennis Booth, Graham Kavanagh and the senior players, because I think they've got my best interests at heart at the moment. That's very important to me at this stage of my career."[LNB]Leeds made a formal complaint to the Football League and received an out-of-court settlement of £5million from Chelsea in 2006 after both Taiwo and fellow England Under-16 international at the time Michael Woods had been lured from their Thorp Arch Academy to Stamford Bridge. The Londoners failed in their bid to sign a third Leeds youngster, Danny Rose, at the same time.[LNB][LNB]
