Swings and roundabouts for Taylor

Greg Abbott's side were expected to challenge for top honours in League One this year after losing out in the play-offs last season, but they have failed to recapture that form and go into Saturday's game with Southend just four points above the drop zone.[LNB]But Taylor, who is on-loan from Doncaster, fully expects them to survive, accepting that their position could be even worse.[LNB]"It's fortunate that we are in this position because we could be even further down and looking up," Taylor told the Carlisle News and Star.[LNB]"Carlisle did really well last year but sometimes, for whatever reason, with relatively the same squad of players, it doesn't work the following season and you have a difficult one.[LNB]"The aim is now to ensure survival and kick on for next season. You can see there is a lot of quality in the team and it is a decent-sized squad. I can't see any reason why the team can't push on next year."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
