Same again for Cumbrians

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott will pick his side from an unchanged squad for the home Carling Cup clash with Huddersfield. Six summer recruits all made their debuts for the Cumbrians in Saturday's 2-0 win over Brentford and Abbott could be tempted to make several changes. Frank Simek, Sean McDaid, James Chester, James Berrett, Craig Curran and Francois Zoko helped Carlisle make a winning start in their first appearances, while Matty Robson, Jason Price and Kevan Hurst, all unused substitutes on Saturday, will be hoping to feature in the first-round tie. Defender Danny Livesey has been told he does not require surgery on his troublesome groin, but will be sidelined until the autumn, while Richard Offiong continues his rehabilitation following a hip injury.
