The 27-year-old former Juventus, Portsmouth and Stoke forward penned a short-term contract at Brunton Park in October and scored six goals in 16 appearances for the Cumbrians.[LNB]But he this week turned down what Carlisle manager Greg Abbott described as "a great offer" to sign a longer-term contract and is now on the look-out for a new club.[LNB]Robins boss Danny Wilson told the Swindon Advertiser: "He (Pericard) is another player we've enquired about but whether we will be able to get him in, we'll wait and see.[LNB]"It shows the quality of players we are looking at. We need to bulk this squad up, and with all the loans and young lads in there it looks very thin when you take them away. There's plenty of players at clubs who we fancy, but what we need more than anything at the moment is cover."[LNB]Wilson has also enquired about taking Celtic's Scotland Under-21 captain Paul Caddis on loan, while Swindon midfielder Craig Easton has admitted he would consider a loan move away from the County Ground in order to get regular first-team football.[LNB][LNB]
