Ref Wright was wrong - Kavanagh
Kavanagh now misses two key games, including Saturday's visit of Swindon, after being booked for the 10th time this season for a foul on Oldham's Chris Taylor in Friday's 1-1 draw.
He told the News and Star: "It is especially frustrating to be suspended because it was clearly an innocuous challenge - it wasn't malicious or intended.
"The standard of refereeing has been poor in the last few games and at Huddersfield on Monday it was shocking.
"I just need to bite the bullet now, sit out the two games, give my best from the sidelines and encourage the boys."
