Pericard thrilled to help secure win
The former Portsmouth and Stoke frontman grabbed his first goal for the club in the 11th minute and set up Joe Anyinsah for the winner 10 minutes from time.[LNB]The result ended a run of seven league games without a win for the Cumbrians and Pericard admits it was a nervy finale for the them.[LNB]He told the official website: "I was looking forward to the game. It went well because we won, I scored and I got 90 minutes under my belt.[LNB]"We kept the ball for long periods and we put pressure on them. The manager wanted us to play with no fear and make sure that we went for it, and it happened for us.[LNB]"It was great to see Joe get the second because there was only ten minutes left and we knew that we were going towards three points. We knew we needed to win, so I couldn't really wait for the end of the game to come."[LNB][LNB]
