Options for Abbott

31 December 2010 08:30
Carlisle manager Greg Abbott will choose from an unchanged squad for the home clash with Huddersfield. Abbott, whose side have lost their last three league games to the weather, last played on December 11 when they went down 2-0 at home to Dagenham. Striker Mike Grella, on loan from Leeds, is pushing for a recall after starting on the substitutes' bench in that game while winger Matty Robson and central defender Peter Murphy, who has recovered from a recent back problem, are also challenging for starts. Tom Cruise, on loan from Arsenal, is expected to continue at left-back in the absence of Sean McDaid, who is ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, but fellow defenders Tony Kane (knee) and Danny Livesey (groin) remain sidelined.
