The 25-year-old former Newcastle forward joined the club from Hamilton on Tuesday in a deal worth £75,000, but he has so far been unable to complete the move because of a complication with his international clearance. Manager Greg Abbott is hoping to have the move rubber-stamped by the Football League in time for the game. Defender Richard Keogh misses the game as he continues to battle an ankle injury while midfielder Marc Bridge-Wilkinson is also ruled out after suffering back spasms. Evan Horwood will hope to be involved after recovering from a dead leg suffered in a reserve game on Monday but Abbott is expected to make few, if any changes, to the side that beat Bristol City 2-0 in the Carling Cup.
