The former Newcastle forward joined from Scottish Premier League club Hamilton on Friday and made his debut as a late substitute in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Leyton Orient.[LNB]He could now be poised to make his maiden start for the Cumbrians, with Joe Anyinsah possibly making way.[LNB]The tie also gives manager Greg Abbott a chance to look at other members of his squad, with Gavin Rothery and Gary Madine pushing for a start, while Evan Horwood (dead leg) could return.[LNB]Richard Keogh (ankle) and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson will not be involved for United, who reached the final of the competition in 2006, only to lose to Swansea.[LNB][LNB]
