Murphy bemoans rotten luck

Carlisle defender Peter Murphy hopes a recent crop of injuries is not going to scupper the club`s impressive start to the season. On-loan Manchester United pair Oliver Norwood (thigh) and James Chester (knee) and Leeds loanee Lubo Michalik (hamstring) have been joined in the treatment room by Francois Zoko (gashed shin), while skipper Paul Thirlwell and Sean McDaid are long-term absentees with knee problems. Murphy said: "We really are having some awful luck with injuries at the moment and we haven't really got the biggest of squads as it is. "But hopefully a few more of the players who have been out for a bit will be returning soon and our strength in depth will return to the levels it was at." Centre-half Murphy added: "We all just want to get back out on the pitch now and get back to winning ways. "We'll work hard in training this week and then go down to Bristol (Rovers) with a positive outlook and hopefully come back with all three points."
