McDaid: It's coming together
Carlisle defender Shaun McDaid was delighted with the side's 1-0 pre-season victory over Hibernian.
Ian Harte`s late header gave the Cumbrian outfit a morale boosting win as they rounded off their pre-season fixtures in style over their Scottish Premier League opponents.
McDaid told the club's official website: "I think we performed really well. They are probably the third best team in their division so this was a good test for us to finish the pre-season with.
"It was frustrating for us not to be in front with the chances we created, but that's football. As long as we are creating the chances then I think the goals will come. I think we've shown that we're doing something right in the way that we're playing at the moment.
"It's good for us to keep a clean sheet. It means that all of the things we've done in July are coming together for us, and that's important."
