Livesey concern for Cumbrians

Carlisle will assess Danny Livesey's hamstring problem in the next couple of days. The 26-year-old was forced to pull out of Tuesday's clash with Hartlepool after suffering tightness in his hamstring in the warm-up. Livesey was omitted from the Cumbrians` line-up so he could have the problem treated, and assistant manager Graham Kavanagh saluted the defender's honesty. "Danny came across to me and told me that he had felt a spasm in his hamstring and that he didn't really want to risk it," he told the club's official website. "That's credit to him because he could have started the game and we'd have been a substitute down within five or 10 minutes. "All we can do now is assess him and see how he is as we get closer to the weekend."
